    We can create the 3D models based on given specifications in order to prepare and configure them for them visualization inside the Configurator. The created 3D models will only have presentation purpose, and won’t be high fidelity technical drawings.

    This activity includes the configuration, model by model, of all the possible variants, materials, colors and inserts. Every model will then be uploaded on Cloud, and stored in a database. So every model will always be available and accessible from any Country (except China for domestic political reasons).

    It’s possible to integrate the web configurator with the company management software in order to semplificate the working flow, as we can directly insert the correct order with the related configuration’s features.

    It’s possible to integrate the web configurator with an e-commerce. This integration allows the customer to utilize the configurator to obtain a quotation of the realized configuration and then proceed with the order of the configured product.

    We can study the product’s configuration logics, based on its needs. One example could be configurations valid by design: this means that it’s not possible to select accessories mutually exclusive.

    The configurator is usable in an optimal way from smartphone because:

    • a graphic interface (UI) with dedicated usability (UX) will be realized from scratch for the mobile environment
    • in order to maximize the number of possible mobile models in which the configurator will be usable, more high-performance materials will be used for 3D models. This materials has tecnically a lower graphic quality, but it’s actually not visible from mobile
    • optimized textures (LD) will be used in order to minimize the memory consumption and maximize the number of mobile models suitable for the configurator (with lower graphic quality, but it’s difficult to see the difference from a mobile environment)
